Victor Davis Nabon
Just started a book by Victor Davis Hanson. He is not an easy read but is a very intelligent and thought-provoking author and commentator (often on Fox News). He writes “The Father Of Us All” as a study of the studies of War. On page 15 he cites; “Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, and Stalin killed far more people than did the First World War.” He then writes; “And more Americans-over 3.2 million-lost their lives driving cars over the past 90 years than died in combat in this nation’s 230 -plus-years of history.”
I do not have an ability to challenge his statistic, However I admire his words and readily accept them.
WOW!
