The Tea
Party is and is not
The Tea
party has a slogan, which in various forms amounts to: Smaller government,
lower taxes, prospering economy, and support of the constitution as written.
Smaller
government means reduction of the intrusion by government into the daily lives
of the citizens of the United States. Smaller government also contributes to
fewer taxes. We as Tea Party members do not want the government intruding into
our daily life, liberties and pursuit of happiness. We don’t wish our
government to tax for undeserving foreign or national ideals that expand the
intent of the constitution. We support the ideas of furthering business within
legal just and moral limits. We want the Government to provide for national
defense and the items provided for in our Constitution’s Preamble.
We the
people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish
justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote
the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our
posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of
America
Likewise as Tea Party members we feel the president’s oath as follows shall apply to our proceedings.--"I do
solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of
President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve,
protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
We are not racist. We are not
radical. We are respectful of all religions, so long as the religion or belief
does not advocate the destruction of our Country, our Constitution.
IF YOU DONT" BELIVE THIS MEET WITH US.
