Our Constitution’s Bill of Rights contains ten necessary amendments.
Currently the Second Amendment is under detailed scrutiny. The ten amendments encompassed
a set of citizen protections against their latent fear of the King’s methods and
actions, which our citizenry feared would become the ways of a powerful Federal
Government. Remembrances included regulating what a citizen could do, say,
self-protect, have in their home, rights to justice, unjust accusations, and a
fair trial.
If your speech or religion could be dictated where is
freedom? If the government can invade you home or quarter of soldiers in homes,
where are your rights? If accused of breaking a law citizens have the right to
fair and impartial trial. Take a close look at the Second Amendment. This is
your right to provide your personal protection against; government, rioting
mob, or personal invasion. The Fifth Amendment provides that there is a
sanctity of your personal possessions.
Here in NJ, a recent law forbids gun owners from possessing
what the State determines are large magazines for their weapons. If your
magazines contain more than what our NJ State Government determines their legal
limit, that contraband is to be confiscated. When the State decides to take
this contraband, will they come with a warrant in the hands of State troopers?
Will they knock politely or force open your door? I wonder if invasion of personal possessions
will be resisted, and how? Two State (or more) enforcement officers are a count
of bullets tantamount to large weapon magazines. Few killings are committed by
lawful gun owners? As the State treads on the Second Amendment, what other Amendments?
Make certain you vote wisely in November 2019 and November 2020. Stop New Jersey’s path of One Party Rule.
