Taking a sentence from Thomas Paine’s “Rights of Man” it is
easy to say; “All the monarchal governments are military.” Considering the
eighteenth century that was probably accurate.
Today we have definitions of; Absolute Monarchy (mid-east), Constitutional
Monarchy, Commonwealths under Monarchy. There are more definitions and possible
further fine points to be defined. Today’s criticisms of our President have
alluded to Trump as being a dictator. Today’s dictators were birthed after
Thomas Paine’s era.
Our Constitution prohibits a dictatorship by the
establishment of the Presidency, Senate, and House of Representatives AND THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE.
The
creation of an American Dictatorship would require a revolution or Coup-de-tat.
We have been blessed in our nation’s existence by the existence of the Fourth
Estate. Today that Estate is attempting the Dictation of our Presidency. Our
President was elected by established principles of our Constitution. Trump is
not a monarch and lives a non-military restraint. When the fourth estate fails, as they are currently teetering, we will find our selves under a dictator.
If the current coup attempts get worse, will we see a true
revolution?
