Why Are So Many Millennials Ignorant Anti-Americans?

Mis-education: Congratulations to the leftists who've taken over the nation's public education system. They're now producing generations of Americans who know little about their own country, other than that they hate it. That's what a new survey shows, anyway.

A new YouGov poll asked more than 1,000 people aged 14 and up about their knowledge of the country's history and institutions, and their patriotic feelings toward the U.S. The nationwide survey, sponsored by the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness, produced some alarming results.
Basically, it found younger generations — millennials (age 22-27) and Gen Z (age 14-21) — are less likely to love and respect the country. And they're less informed about American history, and way more likely to embrace socialism. Is that just evidence of youthful ignorance? Or is it the result of a school system that indoctrinates children in leftist ideology?
Here's a rundown of the poll's findings:
Not Proud Or Patriotic
The survey found that more than a quarter of millennials, and a fifth of Gen Z, say they are not proud to be an American. Among boomers, only 8% or less say they're not proud.
When asked if America has a history we should be proud of, the share who say "yes" declines steadily with age, from 94% of the "silent generation" (those over 73), to 85% of boomers, 72% of Gen X, down to 65% of millennials and 54% of the Gen Z generation still in high school.
More than half of these high schoolers surveyed say they don't consider themselves an American patriot. Among millennials, more than a third aren't patriots. But among boomers, only 13% say they don't consider themselves American patriots.
The survey also found that younger generations are more likely to approve of athletes kneeling in protest during the national anthem, and less likely to show respect for the flag.
America Is Racist And Sexist
Those still in school or recently graduated are also far more likely to consider America a racist and sexist country.

Sixty percent of millennials, for example, say the U.S. is sexist, and 63% say it's racist. More than half of college-aged Gen Z say this about the U.S.
That sharply contrasts with baby boomers, only 46% of whom say the country is sexist and 42% racist.
Worse yet, half of the college-aged Gen Z think America is more racist than other countries. Just 29% of boomers do.
Not Great
While more than 8 in 10 boomers agree that America is the greatest country in the world, just a bare majority of millennials (54%) and high schoolers (51%) think it is.
The share who think America is and will continue to be great drops from 70% among boomers to 53% among millennials, to less than half among Gen Z (those between 14 and 21). Almost a third of millennials say America isn't a great country today, with 14% saying it never was great.
The survey also asked if the world is safer when America is strongest? The overwhelming share of boomers (93%) say yes. But among millennials, the share drops to 68%. Among high schoolers, it's down to 66%.
Socialist Tendencies
The survey also asked which is better for America' future: capitalism or socialism? Overall, 61% of the public favors capitalism. Given the appalling record of socialism, that is a shockingly low percentage.
But the ill-informed and hopelessly misguided infatuation with socialism grows stronger as people get younger. Among millennials and college age people, a bare majority (53%) prefer capitalism.
Half of today's high schoolers say socialism is the way to go. What can explain this, other than schoolteachers preaching about socialist paradises while prattling on about the evils of capitalism?
Ignorant About America
At the same time schools are filling kids' heads with leftist propaganda, they're failing to teach young people much about U.S. history.
The survey found that 87% of high school students flunked a five-question test of basic knowledge about American history, the worst of any age group.
High school students were also least likely to know who is on Mount Rushmore. Only 35% of them got it right, compared with 71% of boomers. Only 11% could name the rights enumerated in the First Amendment. And more than half of today's high schoolers believe Barack Obama was a more consequential president than George Washington.
"We were totally unprepared for what our national survey reveals: an epidemic of anti-Americanism," said Nick Adams, who launched the foundation. "A major fraction of an entire generation has been indoctrinated by teachers starting in grade school that America is what's wrong with the world." (You can read the entire survey report here.)
Adams, who is a recent Australian immigrant, can be forgiven for his shock at learning that U.S. public schools teach children to hate America.
For the rest of us, there's no excuse for not knowing what's going on in our schools today, and no reason to tolerate it.

U S Froeign aid???

Each year the House of Representatives labors over the Subject of Foreign Aid.

El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala, receive approximately 60 million dollars each. That is over $180,000,000.00 annually when totaled. The population total of these tree countries are approximately 30,000,000 citizens.

If the unemployment rate is 8% +/- the 2.4 million citizens should see benefits from the US Aid. However be careful the working population should be realistically at least one half of 30 million population. That would reduce the unemployed to (30million x 1/2 or 15,000,000 workers of which if 9% are unemployed) 1350000 unemployed.
Now the above numbers are assumed and could be off by major amounts. The problem is why are we sending foreign aid of these amounts to countries that will cost the United States dearly.

RACISM, THE ESCAPE FROM SCRUTINY

AT EVERY TURN OF THE CHANNEL, A POLITICAL SPEAKER, PUNDIT, ELECTED POLITICIAN WILL GLADLY CRITICIZE AN OPPONENT OR POLITICIAN FROM ANOTHER VENUE. THE CURRENT CHOICE IS TO CALL SOMEONE A RACIST.

THE TRUTH IS THE RACIST CALLERS ARE TRULY THE RACIST. THEY DWELL WITH RACE ON THEIR MINDS AND AND VIEW THE WORLD WITH A RACIAL POINT OF VIEW.

THEIR BELIEF IS THEY ARE ABOVE SCRUTINY WHEN THEY POINT THEIR DIRTY FINGER, BACKED BY THEIR FOUL TONGUE.

Global Warming

This comment was in an internet article concerning the best way to reverse global warming; "ADVANCED: Go with a white roof or install a green roof, which will prevent heat loss through the roof in winter and cool your home down in the summer."

All of the methods in that articles sound plausible to achieve energy efficiency, but there are other items that need to be questioned. The history of our warming trend is slow, but what was energy usage in the late 19th and early 20th centuries; Homes were inefficient, 'leaky air gap shacks', cooking was fire, early trains and steam ships as well as industrial power producers were inefficient, with a long list of waste heat. After the fire storms of WWII warming might have begun. As a child in the early 50's the A bomb and H bomb testing were said to be the causes of wild weather swings. Obviously they are almost non-existent today.

A question in this writers mind is the paving of the world. Walk bare footed on local streets black top in the summer time and calculate the total warm effect. The Interstate highways have covered some percentage of the United States. The remainder of the world is progressing while local housing projects are reducing the number of trees. Hard wood tree plantings are incidental to highway projects.

Maybe the street should be painted white. Seriously, if we find a methods to begin cooling of our planet would we be facing an ice age? What we would face, and are slowly morphing into is a world government that will tell more of us what  we are allowed or not allowed to do?

IS THERE TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING?
People were finding excuses to ignore voting.
People made it easier to vote.
But could it be us?
We received; Early voting, voting by mail, no I D is required. But in Florida, as before they had ballot destruction's, irregular ballot discoveries. Arizona had final results but now there are more ballots. Now high priced lawyers are heading to slim vote margin states. NJ has a difficulty with District 3. Hmm?
The foreign nation’s interference with our voting was a big set of headlines.

Doesn’t sound like Ivan of Russia has been meddling.
Who could it be?
