A Shade of ACORN

A House Government and Oversight Committee report, first obtained by Breitbart has found, “Obamacare Navigators have been giving Americans misinformation and, in some cases, actively encouraging enrollees to commit fraud in order to raise their subsidies. To complicate matters further, there is no way for Americans to find out whether their Navigators are properly certified.”

When will our government exercise integrity, honesty, through  their employees, volunteers?

Three and one half (3-1/2 years)

Noteworthy Accomplishments

During the 3-1/2 years of World War 2 that started with the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and ended with the Surrender of Germany and Japan in 1945, the U.S. Produced 22 aircraft carriers, 8 battleships, 48 cruisers, 349 destroyers, 420 destroyer escorts, 203 submarines, 34 million tons of merchant ships, 100,000 fighter aircraft, 98,000 bombers, 24,000 transport aircraft, 58,000 training aircraft, 93,000 tanks, 257,000 artillery pieces, 105,000 mortars, 3,000,000 machine guns, and 2,500,000 military trucks. We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services,  invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy , won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific and Europe, developed the atomic bomb and ultimately conquered Japan and Germany .

It's worth noting, that during the almost exact amount of time, the Obama administration couldn't build a functioning web site.
Interesting !

A way to save our country.

Recent e-mail:

This is absolutely brilliant.  Finally--- a way to save our country.

A. Allow those men who want to marry men to marry men.

B. Allow those women who want to marry women to marry women.

C. Allow those folks who want to abort their babies to abort their babies.

D. In three generations, there will be no Democrats.

I love it when a plan comes together!

WOW!!! IS THIS REALLY TRUE??? If I get a response this is untrue I will remove this posting.

WOW!!!  IS THIS REALLY TRUE???
So far I haven't seen anything to make me believe its not true.......

The stories are starting to roll in and putting the lie to the whole obamacare debacle. Those of us who were paying attention knew much of this but now those who wouldn’t believe are getting the picture --- the real issue is how do we stop Obama and this power grab?

------------------------------
What ObamaCare is Really About
I'm a 54 year old consulting engineer and make between $60,000 and $125,000 per year, depending on how hard I work and whether or not there are work projects out there for me.
My girlfriend is 61 and makes about $18,000 per year, working as a part-time mail clerk.
For me, making $60,000 a year, under ObamaCare, the cheapest, lowest grade policy I can buy, which also happens to impose a $5,000 deductible, costs $482 per month.
For my girlfriend, the same exact policy, same deductible, costs $1 per month. That's right, $1 per month. I'm not making this up.
Don't believe me? Just go to http://www.coveredca.gov/ , the ObamaCare website for California and enter the parameters I've mentioned above and see for yourself. By the way, my zip code is 93940. You'll need to enter that.
So OK, clearly ObamaCare is a scheme that involves putting the cost burden of healthcare onto the middle and upper-income wage earners. But there's a lot more to it. Stick with me.
And before I make my next points, I'd like you to think about something:I live in Monterey County, in Central California. We have a large land mass but just 426,000 residents - about the population of Colorado Springs or the city of Omaha.
But we do have a large Hispanic population, including a large number of illegal aliens, and to serve this group we have Natividad Medical Center, a massive, Federally subsidized county medical complex that takes up an area about one-third the size of the Chrysler Corporation automobile assembly plant in Belvedere, Illinois (see Google Earth View). Natividad has state-of-the-art operating rooms, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, fully equipped, 24 hour emergency room, and much more. If you have no insurance, if you've been in a drive-by shooting or have overdosed on crack cocaine, this is where you go. And it's essentially free, because almost everyone who ends up in the ER is uninsured.
Last year, 2,735 babies were born at Natividad. 32% of these were born to out-of-wedlock teenage mothers, 93% of which were Hispanic. Less than 20% could demonstrate proof of citizenship, and 71% listed their native language as Spanish. Of these 876 births, only 40 were covered under [any kind of] private health insurance. The taxpayers paid for the other 836. And in case you were wondering about the entire population - all 2,735 births - less than 24% involved insured coverage or even partial payment on behalf of the patient to the hospital in exchange for services. Keep this in mind as we move forward.

Now consider this:

If I want to upgrade my policy to a low-deductible premium policy, such as what I had with my last employer, my cost is $886 per month. But my girlfriend can upgrade her policy to the very same level, for just $4 per month. That's right, $4 per month. $48 per year for a zero-deductible, premium healthcare policy - the kind of thing you get when you work at IBM (except of course, IBM employees pay an average of $170 per month out of pocket for their coverage).
I mean, it's bad enough that I will be forced to subsidize the ObamaCare scheme in the first place. But even if I agreed with the basic scheme, which of course I do not, I would *never* agree to subsidize premium policies. If I have to pay $482 a month for a budget policy, I sure as hell do not want the guy I'm subsidizing to get a better policy, for less that 1% of what I have to fork out each month for a low-end policy.
Why must I pay $482 per month for something the other guy gets for a dollar? And why should the other guy get to buy an $886 policy for $4 a month? Think about this: I have to pay $10,632 a year for the same thing that the other guy can get for $48. $10,000 of net income is 60 days of full time work *as an engineer*. $48 is something I could pay for collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles, one day a month.
Are you with me on this? Are you starting to get an idea what ObamaCare is really about?
ObamaCare is not about dealing with inequities in the healthcare system. That's just the cover story. The real story is that it is a massive, political power grab. Do you think anyone who can insure himself with a premium policyfor $4 a month will vote for anyone but the political party that provides him such a deal? ObamaCare is about enabling, subsidizing, and expanding the Left's political power base, at taxpayer expense. Why would I vote for anyone but a Democrat if I can have babies for $4 a month? For that matter, why would I go to college or strive for a better job or income if it means I have to pay real money for healthcare coverage? Heck, why study engineering when I can be a schlub for $20K per year and buy a new F-150 with all the money I'm saving?
And think about those $4-a-month babies - think in terms of propagation models. Think of just how many babies will be born to irresponsible, under-educated mothers. Will we get a new crop of brain surgeons and particle physicists from the dollar baby club,
or will we need more cops, criminal courts and prisons? One thing you can be certain of: At $4 a month, they'll multiply, and multiply, and multiply. And not one of them will vote Republican.

ObamaCare: It's all about political power.

A wish to all

A wish for the merriest and holiest of Christmas and the happiest and healthiest New Year to you all.

Tea Party, not Occupy Wall Street, has it correct

‘Occupy Wall Street’ went after business so the poor would be helped. ‘Occupy’ claimed CEO’s lined their pockets with the money of the people. They missed the organizations that line their pockets and pass along all of their operating costs. Governments, federal, state and local agencies collect taxes, and then pass some of the tax funds to the poor, leaving them remain poor. Taxes and fees are based upon our income, or personal property values. Governments establish departments and services designed to collect, spend, and print money.

Other than public safety we do not need restrictions on our purchases. Our government’s health insurance program is costing millions to implement and advertise. The Internal Revenue Service, in charge of enforcing the health care law, is supposed to provide a fair and graduated source of funds for the Government. When government wants to do a good deed they dream up another tax credit that becomes a loop hole.

Politicians claim they create jobs, while they pass taxes. Government claimed improvement in the percentage of unemployed. Their Bureau of Labor Statistics shows 91,521,000 people not in the work force as of November 2013, as compared to 89,221,000 in November 2012. Where did the 2,300,000 workers go? Who needs to be told they are unemployed? Watch government TV adds tell us to sign up for Obama Care.

Washington Township Fire Commissioner

A request for help from the Republicans of Washington Township:

This is posted because it is felt that the Republicans are our close Kin.

From: Frank Stella [mailto:fstella@comcast.net]
Subject: Fire Commission Election
I’m reaching out for help again from the Republican Party.  Three years ago the Republican Party came out big time and did a Robo Call to help me get elected to the Fire Commission.  It takes 350 to 400 votes to win the election and with the help of the Republican Party we got 640 votes the year I won which is more than any other candidate every got.  Unfortunately, the party has changed the meeting nights to the third Thursday of each month which is the same night as my Fire Commission Meetings so I’ve been unable to attend to ask for help.

The Democratic Party of Washington Township is once again backing a candidate to run for Fire Commissioner.  The candidates they represent know nothing about the Fire District which includes the Firefighters and its equipment needs and have never attended any of our meetings, so they put the Firefighters of Washington Township and its residents in jeopardy and unfortunately someone will get hurt or killed because they want to use the position for a stepping stone.

The election is February 15th from 2pm to 8pm at the Fire District Headquarters on E. Holly Ave.  I will be happy to supply anyone with Vote By Mail Forms to make it more convenient to vote.

I have also included a Flyer which explains my background with the Fire Service and Washington Township.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.  I may be able to attend the beginning of the January meeting if you need me to.

Thanks for your help!

The HOLOCAUST and the NY TIMES

THE VIDEO ATTACHED  IS AN IDICTMENT OF THE NY TIMES.

The posting here is not a war on the NY TIMES or intended to slam their record as a newspaper.

The reason for the posting here is to demonstrate how the news media can warp perceptions. When will some one other than Hannity sound the view that we in the Tea Party are not racist and do not support racism?

Our History books in our schools must state Eisenhower's command to the official and reporters that the photographs of the tragedies must tell the world what happened.

TEA PARTY PATRIOTS SITE DOES NOT LIKE THE BUDGET DEAL

THE FOLLOWING IS COPIED FROM THEIR SITE.

Call to Action:
The budget deal brokered by Paul Ryan and Patty Murray that passed the House last week is expected to be brought up in the Senate this week. Call your Senators and tell them it is unacceptable for them to keep spending our nation into bankruptcy.

Find Your Senators HERE
Capitol Switchboard: 202-224-3121

Why this deal is bad?
  • Increases discretionary spending
  • Increases revenue by increasing fees (essentially a tax increase)
  • Assumes deficit reduction at the end of the 10 year budget window (which means it will never happen)
  • Removes the Budget Point of Order which allows for the Senate to send tax increases to the House with a simple majority, rather than a 60 vote threshold

Respecting the Presidency

Have you ever wondered how much he respects
his oath to you, as our president?

The historical experience of socialist countries has sadly demonstrated that collectivism does not do away with alienation but rather increases it, adding to it a lack of basic necessities and economic inefficiency.

Life and quotes attributed to T. Jefferson,

Thomas Jefferson

This is amazing. There are two parts. Be
sure to read the 2nd part (in
RED).
Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who
started learning very early in life and never
stopped.

At 5, began studying under his cousin's
tutor.

At 9, studied Latin, Greek and
French.

At 14, studied classical literature and
additional languages.

At 16, entered the College of William and Mary.
Also could write in Greek with one hand while writing the same in Latin with the other.
At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under
George Wythe.

At 23, started his own law practice.
At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of
Burgesses.

At 31, wrote the widely circulated "Summary
View of the Rights of British America" and retired from his law practice.
At 32, was a Delegate to the Second Continental Congress.
At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence.
At 33, took three years to revise Virginia's
legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.

At 36, was elected the second Governor of
Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry.

At 40, served in Congress for two years.
At 41, was the American minister to France and
negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.

At 46, served as the first Secretary of State
under George Washington.

At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society.
At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and
became the active head of Republican Party.

At 57, was elected the third president of the
United States.

At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation's size.
At 61, was elected to a second term as President.
 At 65, retired to Monticello.

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.
At 81, almost single-handedly created the
University of Virginia and served as its first
president.

At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the
Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams who died on the same day.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself
studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what
most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white
House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

"When we get piled upon one another in large
cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The democracy will cease to exist when you
take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

-- Thomas Jefferson
"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
-- Thomas Jefferson
"I predict future happiness for Americans if
they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"My reading of history convinces me that most
bad government results from too much government."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of
arms."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The strongest reason for the people to retain
the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

-- Thomas Jefferson
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time with the blood of patriots and
tyrants."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes
the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."

-- Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
"I believe that banking institutions are more
dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
I wish we could get this out to every
American!
I'm doing my part. So Please do
yours.

Tell your friends.

Maybe it's better if Congress DOESN'T do its job

From Gerald Keer's recent letter to the editor:

...Our government must consider legislating incremental steps that guide our nation. Congress repealed the sweeping legislation of Prohibition. Changes can be made. We are seeing changes to the Affordable Care Act by President Barack Obama’s fiats that might be unconstitutional. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is refusing to allow consideration of anything that would alleviate the problems of Obamacare....

Read the entire letter here or in the Dec. 11th, Gloucester County Times print edition.

The Editor removed the sentence:
"Which royalty is needed; a King (Obama) that legislates by Fiat, or a Lord (Senator H. Reid) that controls the pockets and wishes of the people?"

AIR FORCE ORCHESTRA

No matter how hard the DC crowd pushes the anti-religious, anti-Christmas, forum there remains some hope.

http://cnsnews.com/video/cnsnews/air-force-band-flash-mob-smithsonian

Thank you Pennsylvania!

PA, recently decided to up their Road Tax for motor fuels. They are going to fix their roads and bridges. Do we think they will have enough money or will they simply spend more for the same repairs. In other words contract prices for the same scope will become more expensive.

They, PA, let their viper out of the bag and now a congressman wants to DOUBLE our Federal fuel tax. This is interesting especially since material are supposedly better and vehicles are lighter. We must get ahead of the curves. And by the way, are we driving the same or less mileage?

Jay Leno Jokes

A little humor for today.

"I was going to start off tonight with an Obama joke, but I don't want to get audited by the IRS."

On NSA surveillance: "We wanted a president who listens to all Americans - now we have one."

On a new IRS commissioner: "He's called 'acting commissioner' because he has to act like the scandal doesn't involve the White House."

On closing the Guantanamo prison for terrorists: "If he really wants to close it, turn it into a government-funded solar power company. The doors will be shut in a month."

Concerning the Benghazi , Associated Press, and IRS scandals: "Remember in the old days when President Obama's biggest embarrassment was Joe Biden?"

On Obama saying he didn't know about the IRS scandal: "He was too busy not knowing anything about Benghazi to know anything about the IRS."

"The White House has a new slogan about Benghazi : Hope and change the subject."

"It's casual Friday, which means that at the White House, they're casually going through everybody's phone calls and records."

"It is not looking good for President Obama. Today his teleprompter took the fifth."

"Fox News has changed its slogan from 'Fair and Balanced' to 'See, I told you so!'"

"These White House scandals are not going away anytime soon. People in Kenya are now saying he's 100 percent American. That's how bad it's gotten."

On Obama's commencement address: "He told the young graduates their future is bright unless, of course, they want jobs."

On a Chicago man who set a record for riding a Ferris wheel: "The only other way to go around and around in a circle that many times is to read the official report on Benghazi ."

On White House claims of ignorance on the scandals: "They took 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' out of the Pentagon and moved it into the White House."

 IMPORTANT:
Information regarding the Garden State Islamic Center currently being built in Vineland, New Jersey.
There is a Garden State Islamic Center currently being built off Almond Road in Vineland. You can see it from Rt. 55. It sits on 7.41 acres of land and what I find most disturbing is what I found on their website: There are links to ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) and CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), both organizations with known ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The American Center for Law and Justice has a booklet entitled, "Shari'ah Law: Radical Islam's Threat to the U.S. Constitution." In it, it states: "In another recent case, a grand jury in Dallas, Texas was confronted with the reality and pervasiveness of political Islam in this country.  In 2004. the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) made headlines when a federal grand jury returned a 42-count indictment against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (once the largest Islamic charity in the U.S.) and seven of its senior leaders for providing and conspiring to provide material financial support to the international terrorist organization, Hamas. The DOJ's investigation turned up a list of domestic "charities" that helped fund terroristic activity abroad, and revealed a mass of evidence exposing the true purpose underlying many Islamic political and cultural organizations. The list of now infamous organizations, which are unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation cases included groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) ......
The Holy Land Foundation cases show that fundamentalist Islamic Networks in the United States exploit the political freedom available in the West to organize and fund their extremist activities. As you may notice, these are organizations that the media typically describes as moderate, mainstream and even secular. The DOJ disagrees with the media's portrayal, as nothing could be further from the truth.
One set of documents discovered by the DOJ described the Muslim Brotherhood's plans to take over North America."   More on this later but understand there is now a large facility being built right here in Vineland. I am currently looking in to what we can do to stop this. When I approached a Freeholder about this, he simply stated that most religious organizations get their way. I told him Islam is not a religion as we know religion. "It's a political religion that accomplished its ends through political and military means." (Per American Center for Law and Justice)                   So we continue, trying to find answers as to what we can do.
Please come out and bring as many family, friends and neighbors to learn from the expert what is happening in our own backyard.
Date:      Tuesday, December 3, 2013
Time:      7pm (doors open at 6pm)
Place:     The Elmer Grange Hall, 535 Daretown Road, Elmer, NJ 08318

There will be NO "Movie Before The Meeting" this month.
