Did the HUFFINGTON POST LIE?

 

The Huffington Post accused Congressman Neugebauer (Texas R.) of voting to shut down the World War II Memorial, and accused him of being at fault when he read the riot act to the Park Ranger for closing of the Memorial. The Huffington  Post claimed the Texas Congressman voted to shut down the Memorial.The following is the record of Neugebauer's vote on Octobe1,2013.

WHO GAVE THE STUPID ORDER?

The National Park Service erected barricades to shut down parking lots surrounding Mount Vernon despite the fact that the tourist destination is privately owned, another example of how the feds are deliberately worsening the government shut down.

Mount Vernon is the former plantation of George Washington and is owned by the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, which doesn’t receive any government funding. The attraction’s official website reads, “NO SHUTDOWN HERE – The Federal government may be shut down, but Washington’s home remains open. Mount Vernon has remained a private non-profit for more than 150 years.”

Call Senators and tell them to stop blocking the House of Represntatives

Article I, Section 7. Of the Constitution provides that all bills for spending will originate in the House of Representatives.

The original intent was the House of Representatives was that they are the representatives of the people. The Senators were originally appointed to represent the States and their governments. When it was changed to be elected senators the intent was to make the Senate a body of elected officials that represented the will of the people, not dictate the will of the people.

The Senate has not agreed to a budget for years. Harry Reid is an anarchist!

NJ has only one Senator. We should flood his office with demands for Budget negotiations. Do this with letters, phone calls, and telegrams.

Do the same to every Democrat Senator from Harry Reid down.

October Meeting--short film and Mark Levin

The Gloucester County Tea Party will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 30,2013 starting at 7:00 PM.

The meeting will be held in the Gloucester County Library, Mullica Hill Branch, 389 Wolfert Station Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, Room B

We will view a short film. "The Washington Project".  This will be followed by discussion of chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6 of  Mark Levin's book "Liberty Amendments"

Note the smirking satisfied look of Senator Chuck Schumer as Senator Harry Reid tells the press the latest House proposal for continuing resolution is DOA.

This is the despicable attitude of the Democrats, reflecting their posture of not negotiating with Republicans. Make certain you let your friends know how rotten is the attitude of Democrats. They are the people who have not issued a budget. They would spend us into ruin.

Go to the above website in the Fox News. Of course you probably do not need to read the lies which wee hear almost daily. The shame is that we respect the office of the President of the United States of America. We have a president that continually bring disrespect to the office.

This is my opinion and he has done nothing to change that in five years. Obama seems to enjoy blaming his problems on the opposition, such as us, the Tea Party, and the Republicans.

COUNTY LEVEL POLITICS

On Friday September 20, 2013 the “South Jersey Times” contained a letter from Michael J. Makara of Sewell, additionally, the ‘Publication of the Gloucester County Freeholders’ was delivered via mail.

Mr. Makara insinuated Niki Trunk, the Republican opponent to Senator Sweeney, violated State Ethics by politicking while employed by the comptroller office. Mr. Makara should reflect on his ethics of innuendos without detail, and investigate if it is ethical of the Democrats to use the Freeholder’s Publication to provide photograph opportunities to keep their names before the citizens of the county.

On the third page of the county’s publication there are three photographs. One shows Democrat Freeholders; Adam Taliaferro, and Freeholder Director Robert Damminger, and Swedesboro Democrat Mayor Tom Fromm, in attendance at the addition of the Swedesboro Auction to the County Land Preservation. The center photograph depicts the ceremonial start of the Addition for Science and Technology, Engineering & Mathematics at the Gloucester County College. The attendees include Democrats; Senators Steve Sweeney and Donald Norcross, Freeholders Heather Simmons, Robert Damminger.

Is it politicking when the Democrats are repeatedly shown in the ‘Publication of the Gloucester County Board of Freeholders’? Compare how many times an elected Republican member of the county have been posted in the Publication as compared to the Democrats. Michael looks for the unethical by Republicans, while Democrats of Gloucester County are given carte blanche.

I attended the Tea Party Exempt America from Obama Care Rally yesterday. 

Some highlights:

 Speakers and special people included; Michelle Bachmann, Mr. Snerdly, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Mark Meadows etc.  All were inspiring.  NJ's own Scott Garrett, our superstar, is carrying the water for us in Congress to defund Obama Care.

 Some lowlights:

·       A contingent went to present to Jon Runyan a petition to encourage him to vote for defunding.  Unbelievably, Jon Runyan said they already voted to defund it. Those 40 votes are a sham, they mean nothing. Call him and tell him we want his pledge.  His staff (guess he was hiding) repeated all the gutless talking points.  It won't do anything, we can't shut down the government, etc.   

·       Of course Congress and Senate have exempted themselves and let the rest of us be damned. He has forgotten that we, the Tea Party, got him elected! 

·       Yesterday we learned of the Defund Obama Care  gimmick of passing two bills simultaneously, one to defund and one not.  So they can go home and say they voted to defund when they know Harry Reed will chop the “defund” right out! It is insulting how stupid they think we are. 

·       John Boehner is a wuss.  Please call him and tell him to stop crying and fight like a girl (ala Palin and Bachmann).  Talk about girly men, the House GOP are the poster children.

Please take however much time it takes to call, E-mail, post on Facebook, Tweet, whatever.....Our jobs depend on it, our health care depends on it, and our lives will depend on it!
