Politicians are the fertilizer (BS to some) of the liberal weed

VOTE TUESDAY JUNE 7
May 30, 2016
Dear Editor
Are our political gardens overgrown with weeds? When the earth is saturated with fertilizing materials the weeds grow out of control. We are on the verge of political parties nominating candidates for our next President, as well as many congressional seats. In recent years the parties’ selections have been the rot that has caused the overgrowth of government. Gone are the days when a conservative could examine the horizon and witness a country dedicated to; fiscal responsibility, personal liberty, constitutional preservation, and a growing economy.
During the past decade the employed percentages of the workforce have diminished. We have seen bureaucracies expand. Government spending has increased and the inefficiencies of the departments and services have been allowed to corrupt. Veterans and tax payers have been subjected to mismanagement and invasion of personal freedoms. Hilary Clinton, the wife of the president had access to personal FBI files. The mortgage giants Fannie and Freddie along with banks caused the greatest economic downturn eighty years. Where did the TARP and the Stimulus go, while we worry about collapsing infra-structure? Without controls the government funding and spending toward free immigration continue the blossom of the National Debt as well as costs for school funding where children flood the systems. Local and state governments are at an all-time high, with federal support. Your tax dollars at work.
The current Resident of the White House has used Executive Directives to spread the fertilizer of government growth. Remember if you like your insurance plan you can keep it. Like farm animals, that have no freedom to roam, live in a pasture where the grass is green from the excrement fertilizing their home.
Will, or can, voters return sensibility to our American government’s self-control?
Gerald Keer
