We as Republicans enjoyed a Thanksgiving with
the prospects of not having Hillary as the president-elect.
What we will face in the year 2017 is a Governor
campaign that will be a possible reaction against Governor Christie. We in
South Jersey were upset at: his appointment of U.S. Attorney Walter Timpone, signing
the fuel tax increase without fighting for revisions to state highway
construction and repair guidelines, did not act swiftly or decisively regarding
Bridge-gate, insulted but lately reversed his ruling on commuters regarding State
Taxes for Pennsylvania and New York commuters.
We are faced with a State wherein he never moved strongly
enough to endorse conservative principles and actions. The best thing he did
was endorse Trump, but he should have never run for President himself. In short
he appears to be a classic RINO.
We need as a Republican Party a strong Conservative
candidates who can capture or defeat the North Jersey Vote. Is that Possible?
Probably not but who are running the Republicans Parties of; Atlantic,
Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Ocean Counties. Do
these Counties have the clout?
We heard little from the Gloucester County Executive
during the Trump Campaign. Our problem by county in 2017 follows:
